Getting to the Algarve.

Travelling to and around the Algarve is a very simple process.
Flights into the region arrive at Faro airport and are available from most major airports around the world, making it the quickest and easiest way to travel. Below are a number of links to airlines that operate flights into Faro, to visit their websites simply click on their logo.

Although that is not the only way to get there. By being part of mainland Europe, it is a driveable destination through either Spain or Portugal itself, and you can also travel by boat or ferry by using the Port of Portimao.
As well as being able to fly into Faro International Airport, you can drive into the Algarve, either from Huelva, Spain by using the N431, or from Via do Infante, Portugal, by using the A22.
You can also use the Port of Portimao if you wish to travel by ferry.
